For entities formed outside of New York, state-specific legal advice is provided through referral to or coordination with trusted local counsel. The attorney acts as a strategic advisor and primary point of coordination, and may assist in reviewing and negotiating the scope and terms of engagement with local counsel on the client’s behalf. Any fees charged by local counsel are separate and subject to their own engagement agreements.
As part of this package, up to $500 of the package fee may be applied, at the client’s direction, as a credit toward fees charged by referred local counsel. This credit is applied for the client’s benefit and does not constitute fee-splitting or shared legal fees.
